Dream for America is a Gen Z-led 501(c)4 non-profit founded on July 4, 2023 focused on identifying, educating, and mobilizing America’s students to promote the principles of freedom, democracy, & progressive government. Together, we’ll mobilize a new generation of democracy defenders to take on far-right youth groups like Turning Point USA.

JOB DESCRIPTION:Dream for America is seeking a Development Director to lead our fundraising and development efforts. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of securing funds from diverse sources, including individual donors, foundations, corporations, and events. This role is critical to our growth and sustainability, and the Development Director will work closely with the Chief Executive, Board of Directors, and program staff to advance our mission.
The Development Director will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, grant writing and management, donor relations and stewardship, and writing copy.

- Demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in donor management software and fundraising analytics.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
